The Vollrath MPI4-1800S commercial induction cooktop has a timer that counts down until food is ready, when it audibly alarms to alert employees. It includes a temperature control probe with a 22-inch cord to ensure meats cook to safe internal temperatures. Users can program as many as four frequently used recipes, so when a customer orders one, all the employee must do is push a button. This unit is operated with a touchscreen and a control knob.

With its stainless steel casing, the Vollrath MPI4-1800S countertop induction cooktop withstands years of wear and tear in a commercial environment. It is mounted on nonslip feet to prevent it from sliding off the countertop, and the top is made of sleek glass that detects when a pan is placed upon it automatically. The power levels are adjustable, as is the temperature within a range of 80 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
